Niraj heads Gateway Group of Companies as the Chairman & Managing Director.
He is the Founder Director and Chief Architect of Catapulting Gateway TechnoLabs as one of the best choices of offshore software development companies in India. He is responsible for consolidating growth in markets across the globe. He spells out the vision and the strategic direction of Gateway TechnoLabs and oversees the Company's expansion. He is at the helm of several initiatives in technology, applications, processes, customer deliveries and business development.
He is responsible for Business Development and for management of the P&L and Finance Function of the company. In addition to driving revenue and profitability a key part of his focus is to ensure that the appropriate structure is in place to deliver continued high levels of client satisfaction at a time of strong growth in the company.
Managing the consistent growth of the company over the years while retaining 100% financial stability and continuous sustenance of the company by having the best of the teams to work for the company to retain its cutting edge technological competence in the Global markets has been his core competence. People management, Financial planning and Process orientation at operational level have been his forte.
He is an Engineer with a Masters Degree in Business Administration from one of the top 10 Management Institutes in India.
Indrajit is the Joint Managing Director of Gateway Group of Companies.
He is responsible for technology transformation, quality and overall project management. He heads his super team of over 500+ software developers. He and his team have a 100% delivery record and have brought all the name and fame that Gateway has in terms of having a powerful multi platform and multi skilled technology team. He is responsible for the Best Software Development Practices to be followed by the company.
He is almost fanatical about delivering value and quality to our customers and his willingness to sacrifice business and profits to hold on to our commitment and promise. He has consistently delivered significant positive change and envisioned and built the technology team at Gateway.
His leadership inspires to give shape to the collective efforts his team, who use technology to shape standard & unheard-of solutions.
Prior to being a part of Gateway Indrajit served as Project Manager for Veritas Inc., where he specialized in Communication S/W, Networking Monitoring Probes, Protocol Stacks, Embedded Systems, Business Application Development, SNMP, Vx Works (RTOS), RMON II, SS7 Protocol, T1/E1 testers, Frame Relay.
He has done Bachelors in Science and Masters in Computer Application from Gujarat University.
Vipin is the Managing Director, European Union, Gateway TechnoLabs Pvt. Ltd., India; and Managing Director, BeNeLux, NINtec B.V., The Netherlands.
He has over nine years of managerial & consulting experience in IT-enabled business areas in variety of roles such as business consultant, sales/account management, project management and line management. He has a commercial & pragmatic approach and has led efforts in this area for government (defence, transport, environment) and private sector clients (financial institutions, food, agriculture, trade, etc.). He has appeared several times in press & professional magazines and has also published articles. NINtec services clients in the area of recruitment and selection, software integration/development and caters to the continental Europe market. He is on board of the Netherlands India Chamber of Commerce and Trade (NICCT).
He has served for Computer Sciences Corporation and Logica before setting up NINtec B.V.. Vipin holds a Bachelors Degree in Electronics Engineering and a Masters in Business Administration from Maastricht School of Management, The Netherlands.
Mohit Thawani
Mohit is Vice President - USA Region and is in charge of Business Development in the United States of America.
He joined us in November 1997 and has brought his 10+ years of Product Development and marketing experience in IT industry to Gateway. He is responsible for business generation and managing operations of Gateway Group of Companies in US. In this position he oversees the day-to-day operation and works with new and existing clients to bring our commitment to quality to their operations. He is also involved with Strategic partnerships with entities that complement our skill set to provide a wide variety of services to our client base.
He has a strong background in IT, legal and financial field. This is where he brings his expertise to our clients.
Pavak is Commercial Director - North America of Gateway Group of Companies.
He has over ten years of experience in the information technology industry, in both operational and entrepreneurial roles. At Gateway, which he joined by merging his startup in 2003, Pavak provides valuable support in the operations and business development of the company. He works closely with Gateway clients who are using offshore resources to execute large software development and maintenance projects. He also uses his entrepreneurial experience to provide inputs in planning strategy for future growth of Gateway. Pavak spent the previous six years of his career gaining valuable insights in marketing, strategic planning, and new business development in the US, Europe and India by setting up and running successful IT ventures.
He holds Master's Degree in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University, Ohio, USA
Chirendu is Director - Global Sales & Support with Gateway Group of Companies.
Chirendu is a pioneer in offshore software development and software outsourcing processes and defining innovative business models for international markets. Prior to Gateway, he was involved with Pentasoft Technologies as a Functional Consultant for ERP implementations and has project development and implementation experience in varied kind of industries like Port, Refinery, Dairy, Heavy Machinery Fabrication, and Service Industry etc.
As Director-Global sales and support, Chirendu is responsible for Global Operations across Europe, Canada, and USA. His responsibilities include overall corporate development, identifying global markets, making strategic partners, sales, strategic planning, client relationship management, and quality process improvement. He has led the growth of Gateway with his strong business acumen and managerial capabilities.
Chirendu has over eight years of experience in software industry and holds a Bachelors degree in Technology and Post Graduate in Business Administration (Finance and System).
Vilas Nagar is the Director - Engineering & Research with Gateway Group of Companies.
He is responsible for quality deliveries for the projects as well as managing the operational aspects including Project Feasibility Study, Planning & Implementation of existing and new projects through effective Project Management Techniques, Resource Planning & Allocations and improving overall efficiencies of the team in relevant technologies.
A need is felt to focus on emerging and higher end technology solutions which are going to be critical for overall growth of the company in the future ahead. In additionaddition to day to day activities, he is also responsible for setting up research division in the company. It would be his visions along with the Jt. Technology Director of the company which will be responsible to ensure that the company remain on the cutting edge of technology.
He has over 8 years of experience in envisioning, scoping, designing and implementing various complex technical solutions (web and client/server) in the field of Financial, Insurance, Banking and e-commerce sector. On the technology side, he has successfully implemented projects on environments like Microsoft.NET Framework, ColdFusion MX and Microsoft VC++ 6.0
Vilas holds a Bachelors degree in Electronics and Communication from Gujarat University.
Chirag is the Director - Technology with Gateway Group of Companies
Chirag has almost one and half decades of rich experience in the areas of Software Development, IT Consulting, Offshore Outsourcing and Professional Services. Prior to Gateway, Chirag worked for one of the big 5 consulting organizations PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, USA (Now IBM) as a "Management Consultant" and Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO, SAC) as a "Scientist", defining the system strategies, developing complex software applications and implementing large projects for major federal and international clients.
As Director Technology, Chirag is responsible for global operations across Europe and North America and his responsibilities include developing technology strategies, client relationship management, program/project management, quality management, creating innovative solutions, building high impact teams leading to revenue generating services and products.
Chirag holds Bachelors in Science (Physics) and Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science and Applications.
Pratik is the Chief Operating Officer - EU Operations with Gateway Group of Companies
Pratik is entrusted with the overall responsibility of Business Planning and Delivery Management at Gateway. He is responsible for redefining the business development strategies, providing pre-sales technical support and client relationship management. He is also responsible for providing the value-addition in the services offered. Pratik also contributes to the Project Management activities at Gateway and as a Delivery Head is responsible for the smooth functioning of some of the large projects at Gateway.
He has over eight years experience in software project development and people management, with expertise in architecture, design and quality assurance.
Prior to being a part of Gateway he served as Project Manager for VBSoft India Ltd. (ISO 9001) where he played an instrumental role in the development of many specialized business intelligence and data security solutions for various international clients of the company.
Pratik holds Bachelors in Science (Electronics) and Masters of Computer Applications, MCSD
Sandipan is the Director – Operations of Gateway Group of Companies.
He is responsible for overall operations of the company and bring significant growth in diverse technologies and verticals.
His rich and varied experience in software technologies and management ranges from software Development and project management to heading large Information Technology departments and software delivery which include fortune 100 Companies. He has worked in verticals like Banking and Capital Market, Discrete Manufacturing, Healthcare, Utilities and Services.
Born at Calcutta, India, Sandipan completed his post graduate studies in Physics from Calcutta University & was a gold medalist. He has done senior management studies at IIM (A). Before joining Gateway Group, he was head of Information Technology of leading Indian Companies like Gujarat Ambuja cements / British Gas / Lalbhai group / Powersoft Inc.
Sandipan is on the board of Directors of Ahmedabad Capital Markets (a subsidiary of Ahmedabad Stock Exchange). He is also a guest faculty of Indian Institute of Management (IIM - A) and an Advisor to the Chief Justice of Gujarat. He is a past Chairman of CSI- Computer Society of India( Ahmedabad Chapter) and has been the founding chairman of CIO group of CSI.
Deepak Chandwani
Deepak is the Commercial Director, NINtec, USA.
He is responsible for Sales, Engagement, Client management and delivery management for NINtec USA.
Deepak has over 14 years of experience in managing, planning & execution of software projects in oil & gas, utilities, financial, high-tech manufacturing, and IT service industries. He is as analytical, innovative and goal oriented IS professional, with demonstrated abilities to plan, manage, monitor & deliver business solutions. He has strong understanding of business processes and breadth in application development & technology. He has worked with many fortune 500 clients like Intel, ConocoPhilips, EDS and Enron, winning many accolades for going above and beyond to deliver.
Deepak actively volunteers for the PMI Houston local chapter and conference committee. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer science and has a Project Management Professional certification from PMI.
Gaurav is Vice President Operations with Gateway Group of Companies.
Gaurav is entrusted with the overall responsibility of Business Planning and Delivery Management at Gateway. He is responsible for redefining the business development strategies, providing pre-sales technical support and client relationship management. He is also responsible for providing the value-addition in the services offered. Gaurav also contributes to the Project Management activities at Gateway and as a Delivery Head is responsible for the smooth functioning of some of the large projects at Gateway. Gaurav is also responsible for planning and implementing strategies for continuous growth of the company and to achieve the vision of becoming a leading Software and BPO services company in the region.
Gaurav has over six years of experience in software industry and holds a Masters Degree in Technology. An IIM Ahmedabad Allumni, Gaurav is also a PMP.
Prior to being a part of Gateway , He was involved with eNucleus India Solution Pvt. Ltd. (A CMM 5 and ISO 9001 Company), as General Manager, Engineering Services and was responsible for large Enterprise Solutions and turnkey project executions and has headed operations of India and Singapore with a team of 250+. He has project development and implementation experience in varied kind of industries like Manufacturing Industries, Dairy, Heavy Machinery Fabrication, and Service Industry etc.
Mikael Berglin is Managing Director for the subsidiary - Gateway TechnoLabs Sweden AB.
Mikael has almost 25 years of experience from software development, IT consulting and project management. Mikael has worked for large international companies within the area of Telecom, Banking and Automobiles. For a total of 9 years Mikael has worked overseas being responsible for establishing new opportunities and managing applications in different areas and in many varying environments and cultures. Having experience from development of many software-systems, team-management and project management, that together lays a solid foundation for Mikael to guide and support companies with their IT-projects.
As Managing Director for the operation in Sweden, Mikael is responsible for all contracts in Sweden and that Gateway delivers the highest possible level of service to the customers.
Anders Karlsson is the Vice Managing Director for the subsidiary - Gateway TechnoLabs Sweden AB.
Anders has a technical background from the Swedish automotive industry with heavy focus on automation and process management. In recent years, Anders has been a successful entrepreneur involved in IT and technically intense projects. Apart from his technical background, Anders also has a Bachelor's degree in Law.
As the Vice Managing Director for the operations in Sweden, Anders is working closely with the customers to ensure that Gateway Technolabs meets and exceeds the customers's expectations.
Jesper Michelsen is the Commercial Director, Gateway TechnoLabs Denmark Pvt. Ltd. He has over eight years of experience in IT consulting business & in managing, planning & executing software projects.
For the last 6 years, he has run his own IT business, doing freelance consultancy & outsourcing & has grown a solid client base counting large international companies and Danish stately institutions.
His roles in previous IT projects has been spanning from programmer & senior architect to project manager & key account manager. As Commercial Director, he is now heading the Danish operations, defining & executing the sales strategy & managing projects and client relations.
Baldev Garlyal is the Vice President - Multimedia & BPO of Gateway TechnoLabs Pvt. Ltd.
Baldev has been associated with Gateway since last 8 years and is responsible for overall operations of multimedia division which includes - Project Feasibility Study, Client Interaction, Cost Implications of the Project, Resource Planning, Quality Assurance, and other critical aspects. He also helps the business development team for project understating, providing the estimation and closure of the project. He has an in-depth knowledge & work experience for the processes required for speedy operation and smooth transition to offer BPO services for New Media industry in an offshore model across the globe.
He is also instrumental in conceptualization of Media Projects at an implementation level that includes story boarding along with multimedia production in 2D/3D animation, Interactive design & development for Web \ CD Media, Television, Print & Publication for Product Packaging, News media, Corporate Identity and Brand Management.
Baldev has over 11 years of experience in News Media industry. He is Post Graduate in Fine Arts from M. S. University, Baroda, holding Post Graduate diploma in Advance computer Arts from CDAC.
Falguni Mathur is the Creative Director - Multimedia Operation and currently heading the Multimedia Department with Gateway Group of Companies.
Falguni has a varied experience in the field of Media and Advertising, primarily focusing on art direction, production and creative processing for the national and international markets. Prior to Gateway, she was working for one of India's largest Advertising Agencies, Mudra Communications. She also has 16 national and international Awards for Creative Excellence to her credits. As a Creative Director, Falguni is responsible for directing, motivating and managing the creative team. Her responsibilities include Interaction with clientele, project understanding, maintaining quality assurance and proper team guidance for speedy operations and smooth transition.
Falguni has over 19 years of experience in Creative conceptualization and Brand building. She holds a Bachelors degree in Fine Arts from M. S. University, Baroda.
Namrata is the Senior Vice President - Global Sales & Support with Gateway Group of Companies.
She is currently managing some of the strategic accounts and partners which involve relationship management and repeat business generation. She also heads the pre sales team and is actively involved in Pre sales and sales activities mainly in consulting, suggesting approach and closures.
She has more than 11 years of experience in account management, Pre sales and software development, delivering projects in varied functional and technical areas in offshore mode. Account management, Partner Management, People management, Resource planning, Project management and Team Building are her key areas of expertise. Namrata has earlier exposure of heading a team of people and ensuring client satisfaction and project deliveries with optimized resource planning leading to improved efficiencies and quality. She was serving as a project manager and has been part of the management team in earlier employment prior to her association with Gateway and has strong managerial and leadership capabilities with right attitude.
Namrata holds Bachelors in Science (Physics), Diploma in Computer Applications and Master of Computer Applications.
Sandeep Suryakant Kulkarni is currently working with Gateway TechnoLabs Pvt. Ltd. as a Vice President - Corporate Affairs at the global corporate function of Gateway.
Sandeep has a progressive experience of 12 years in Large Scale Operations, Change Management, Administration, Programme management and ICT training operations. As a senior member of management of C-DAC ACTS, he was involved in making policies, strategies and innovates in organizational processes.
Sandeep had got a rich experience of working in multi cultural / cross cultural environments in Asian, African and CIS region. He has completed feasibility studies for various International Projects of MEA, Government of India. He was instrumental in various International Projects for setting up of Centre of Excellence in ICT (CoEICT) at Ghana, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Tanzania, Myanmar, Armenia, Belarus, Turkmenistan, Lesotho and Seychelles. He is also involved in overseas collaborative operations for Dubai, Japan, Sri Lanka and Mauritius.
Sandeep is an electronics graduate, MBA and Diploma in Advanced Computing (DAC) from C-DAC. Sandeep has published research paper on "A Study on the Importance of Cross-Cultural Issues in Setting up of Centre of Excellence in ICT to Support E-governance Initiatives in CIS & African Region" during the "6th International Conference on Asian Language Processing & IT".
Tanmay is the Head QA & SEPG with Gateway Group of Companies.
At Gateway, Tanmay drives all the quality assurance, testing, project management and process improvement initiatives. He has been instrumental in setting up an independent test group to position QA group as a value-added service to our clients. He manages dedicated testing projects, participates in test strategy definition of projects and co-ordinates functional and technical reviews across the organization.
With 10 years of experience in development and management, he plays an active role in defining and improving our quality management system and establishing a process culture across the company. He also plays an important role in client confidence building for new engagements.
Prior to joining Gateway, Tanmay headed process management group at GlobalTech India where he was also a management representative for ISO 9001:2000.
Pravin is the Managing Director – India, looking after the India operations of the company.
He is responsible for managing the Gateway group’s offshore software development and Business Development from India, to actively support subsidiaries, partners & clients across the globe.
A Management Graduate from one of the leading Management Institutes, he brings on board about two decades of rich experience in managing Human Resources across various companies in the Manufacturing as well as Service Industry. His last assignment was with DHL Logistics where he headed the HR function for more than 9 years, besides evolving, managing & contributing to various corporate functions as a part of the senior management team.
Pentti is the Co-founder and the CEO of Finnish joint venture Gateway TechnoLabs Finland Ltd.
He has an extensive 25 years of experience in IT Service and Product businesses, of which more than 20 years is in Executive Group Management positions in international IT service companies, like TietoEnator Corp. (latest having held CEO position) and CapGemini Finland.
He has an extensive international business experience having run businesses in 27 countries and wide knowledge in M&A, divestments and outsourcing with a track record of close to 100 transactions and 3 cross-border mergers.
Pentti took his first steps in offshore field in late 1990´s.
His favourite hobby is European football with 35 years in different football teams.
Pentti holds a Master’s Degree in University of Jyväskylä 1985; Master of Science (Econ.) majored in computer science (Business Economics and Marketing).
